Why It's Good:

Located on Newbury Street, Boston's main shopping thoroughfare, the prices at The Closet can be a bit high for secondhand but who can pass up a Prada suit for $230? Not us apparently! We found it hard enough to walk away from the size 51/2 Prada riding boots for $110—and we're a size 8! The store is small but they make use of their limited space, so don't hesitate to look under the racks to find Ferragamos and Manolos hiding below. They also have an amazing handbag selection and a great selection of menswear.

Why It's Green:

Reusing these luxury vintage items not only cuts down on materials, carbon emissions and energy expended in manufacturing new products, but as an added plus, also cuts down on spending. Plus, quality pieces like these can last a lifetime.
