Static Second-Hand Boutique

Why It's Good:

The focus at Static is on 80s gear and the selection is manageable and easy to sort through. There is a great range of belts and other accessories, but the real draw at this store is designer handbags like Gucci and Louis Vuitton. You'll have to bear with the slight musty smell that often permeates used fashion, but the affordable prices make it worth a visit.

Why It's Green:

All of auntie's oldies but goodies might be stuffed in an attic somewhere, but one day they'll likely be thrown away. Second-hand stores mean that these finds will end up in someone's hands instead of the dump, and also that no resources were use or carbon gases emitted to produce something new that you would have otherwise purchased.
