The Recycled Glass Rings Tumblers (pictured, bottom center) will firmly replace the mish-mosh of random glasses and mason jars you've been using, for these simple, stemless glasses cry out, "Let’s share a bottle of red—organic, of course—French-bistro style." These classic Green Glass Hurricanes (pictured, right) are just the thing for snappy seasonal décor, and will bring the outdoors in when you fill them with found rocks, pretty shells, or fresh wild flowers. And we love the offbeat Recycled Glass Head (pictured, top left). Why not? The price ($15) is really, really right.
These items are made of 100% recycled glass. Wouldn't it be nice if instead of throwing away 28 billion bottles and jars every year, they were recycled into new amazing tabletop pieces? A glass head for every house, hear, hear!

If you happen to know of anyone who still needs a reason to separate their glass and plastic from their cans and paper, this is it. We wish all recidivist non-recyclers could see this new line and witness what can come of their labors. Pier 1, the ubiquitous go-to for casual home furnishings and accessories, is stocking a selection of recycled glass tabletop items that are as good-lookin' as they are pocketbook-friendly. For items from lovely little tumblers to green glass hurricanes to an inspired, somewhat Damien Hirst-ish glass head (yes, we said head), we made a beeline once we heard the news. Bonus hint: He (the head) makes an excellent gift for a summer hostess with a sense of flair. Now to remind her to recycle him when the time comes.—Julie Fowler
