Ginger is the perfect cold weather herb—it's warming, it stimulates circulation, and it soothes sore, achy muscles. A soothing soak in these spicy bath salts after a day of holiday shopping or outdoor winter fun will rejuvenate you for the evening ahead.
All of Pharmacopia's products are fair trade and vegan (which means that they don't contain animal products of any kind, including lanolin and beeswax). The company uses certified organic ingredients whenever possible—when it can't, it uses all natural, all the time, which means there’s never anything scary-sounding or potentially harmful (like parabens) on the ingredients list.

'Tis the season for body aches, chills, achy muscles—and no time to yourself. The cure that's worked for me every winter: A soothing soak in Pharmacopia’s Ginger Bath Salts. Here’s how to make it work for you. 1. Set the scene: Close the door to your bath (no cell phones or Blackberries allowed!), fill the tub with warm water (too-hot water dries out your skin) and add bath salts, light a candle...or two or three...and dim the lights. 2. Sit back and soak: Breathe in the spicy, exotic blend of the warming herbs and essential oils emanating from your tub. Relax. As tempting as it is, don’t stay in the bath for longer than 20 minutes as soaking too long can suck moisture from your skin. 3. Add a few finishing touches: Step out of the tub and smother yourself in your favorite body lotion while your skin is still damp (this helps the lotion absorb better). 4. Repeat as needed (nightly or weekly), and send me a thank-you note. Or, better yet, save paper (and postage) and leave us a comment in the box below.
