Ooma Retro Vintage Store

Why It's Good:

The owners of this boutique share two passions: local designers and top-notch vintage. The collection of retro styles is extensive enough to fill the store for years to come, but instead, just a handful of their popular pieces are put out at a time. As we entered the store, a 50s black trapeze dress went flying off the rack before we could even get our hands on it. The lucky buyer may have beaten us to the punch this time around, but we'll be back to snag a treasure everyone will be envious of.

Why It's Green:

Look good and feel good, because reusing clothing is a form of recycling. When you reuse clothing you do the environment a favor because reused clothing requires no new materials, fuel, or energies for manufacturing; virtually the only environmental cost you pay is shipping.
