Nude Cleansing Milk

Why It's Good:

Clean skin is the foundation for a healthy, beautiful complexion. Now, washing up right is actually an enjoyable experience with this cleanser, which is loaded with ingredients that work with your skin to keep it protected from aging.

Why It's Green:

The Nude line of high-end skincare products, created by Bryan Meehan, is free of every questionable chemical (think sulfates, parabens, pthalates, mineral oil, and silicones) found in most non-natural cosmetics. And they're packaged in chic, recyclable bottles made from 40% post-industrial recycled plastic that's been printed with non-toxic inks.

Where To Get It:

Get a Nude Attitude

In my house, I'm known as the Queen of Clean: Dirt and dust don't stand a chance against me and my broom. The same "leave no filth standing" philosophy, however, doesn't always apply to my complexion: I sometimes head for bed with a face full of makeup. Now that I've adopted Nude skincare products into my evening wash routine, though, my pillowcase has been looking mascara- and foundation-stain free. The silky texture of the Cleansing Milk, $42, is soothing on my easily irritated skin, and I revel in the sweet, floral fragrance because I know it—like 99% of the product's ingredients—is naturally derived. Plus, it removes dirt and excess oil with sulfate-free cleansers like coconut and palm kernel oil, iris and juazeiro (a shrubby tropical plant indigenous to Brazil) extract. After washing and rinsing, a spritz of Nude Hydrating Water, $34, with rose and vanilla floral waters, tones and calms my complexion. (The spray's prickly pear extract helps lock in moisture, too.) I guess now you could say I'm the Queen of Clean Skin. —Megan O'Connell
