Why It's Good:

Homework was never so much fun: This cheeky bag is made from the discarded lessons and exams of Italian schoolkids--complete with teacher's correction marks! Perfect for an educator, editor, student, or anyone waxing nostalgic about those saved-by-the-bell days.

Why It's Green:

Momaboma crafts all their handbags and accessories from old materials like Italian mailbags, military garb, vintage magazines, and student school papers. (You can view their step-by-step process on their site, under "materiali". Note: the entire site is in Italian!) Repurposing an item is one of the greenest things you can do--it cuts down on the creation of new materials, and saves old ones from ending up in the landfill. Bravo!
