This nonprofit organization, founded by Andy Lipkis when he was just 15, is based in Los Angeles and works to help nature heal cities and poor nations around the world. You can have a tree planted in your name or in the name of someone you love—it’s a unique gift and it lasts for years. Leonardo DiCaprio dedicated a grove of trees to honor his mother and grandmother through TreePeople's Gift of Life program.
TreePeople offers sustainable solutions to urban ecosystem problems and focuses on training and supporting communities to care and plant for trees, educating children and adults about the environment, working with government agencies on critical water issues.
