Doggone Good Biscuits (We Like Them, Too)

Organic Dog Biscuits from Robbie Dawg, Little Lulu's, and Buddy Biscuits

Organic Dog Biscuits from Robbie Dawg, Little Lulu's, and Buddy Biscuits

Nutritious and delicious (with a great crunch factor for keeping your dog's teeth clean), these treats will entice your talented pup to sit, roll over, and obey your every command. They might work on some of your friends too.

The biscuits contain fresh, organic ingredients, which means they were grown without chemical pesticides or fertilizers and are healthier for your furry friend. Robbie Dawg donates snacks to the Bide-a-Wee animal adoption center as well as to new owners of adopted pups.

The other day at the Sprig.com offices we received an assortment of organic doggie biscuits, and while our staff loves animals, we care about them too much to keep one in our cramped New York City apartments. How to tell if the biscuits were good? In the name of bringing-you-the-best-of everything-green, we tasted them ourselves. Yes, we did. After checking out the ingredients, which were all "human food" (peanut butter, brown rice, peppermint), we figured, what the heck? Our reactions: "It has a good, crunchy mouth feel," "Tastes like watered-down gingerbread cookies," and "Hmmm, good, not too sugary." A few minutes later, a very adorable Lhasa Apso named Max came trotting down the hallway. It was our lucky day (we've never seen a dog in our office before) and apparently it was Max's, too. He quickly devoured the doggie-bone-shaped Robbie Dawg Peppermint Bark and Turkey Sausage & Roman Cheese Organic Dog Biscuits we fed him, as well as the Little Lulu's Savory Bacon & Parsley Biscuits and Peanut Butter Berry Organic Dog Biscuits—much to the surprise of his owner who said that Max is normally "very picky." The larger organic Peanut Butter Madness gingerbread-men-shaped treats from Buddy Biscuits were harder for him to eat, but once he figured out how to attack, he gobbled those up too (a bigger dog would have no problem). After Max's feeding frenzy was over, he hunted around in the carpet for crumbs, not unlike one of our co-workers who later said, "Do we have any leftover dog biscuits—it's almost lunch time!"
