Why It's Good:
Let's face it: No one likes to see you all scratchy-peely. Your lips will always look softer, plumper (and more kissable) with a swipe of Lip Action balm.
Why It's Green:
Kiss my Face has teamed up with Whole Foods to raise one million dollars for Al Gore's Alliance for Climate Protection, a think tank aimed at educating folks on how we can tackle the ever-growing climate crisis. The lip balms are free from parabens (a synthetic preservative that has been linked to breast cancer) and petrolatum (a non-renewable resource made from oil found in lots of lip products).
Where To Get It:

Soft, Sexy Lips in Seconds
Fall is fast approaching … and with a bit of chill in the air, I'm reminded to carry that cool-weather essential: lip balm. Problem is, many lip balms contain scary ingredients like parabens, petrolatum (which dries out your lips!), camphor (isn't this used in embalming and insecticides?), and other mysterious, brow-raising chemicals that leave a waxy or greasy residue. Suffice to say, I'm often tempted to skip it and suffer the consequences. So when our Beauty Editor handed me a stick of Kiss My Face's new Lip Action balm (in eco-aware names like Glacial Mint, Berry Warm, and Eco-Cocoa), I gave it a whirl. Not only did it taste good—and not leave an artificial aftertaste—it didn't feel goopy. This alone would be enough to convert me, but there's more: It's made of natural ingredients and—hooray—one whole dollar from the sale of each stick goes to the Alliance for Climate Protection, so pucker up, baby … for the planet.
