what was great about this year for you? between all of us at sprig, there have been six moves (ending in london; greenville, south carolina; a few blocks over in williamsburg, brooklyn; a different part of midway, louisiana; two in l.a.), four new jobs, two new relationships, a book deal, a triumph over cancer, and a new baby named zadie. that's not bad for three staffers and sprig's dedicated contributing editors. we also met tons of people – more than you can count on all our fingers and toes – who made our heart pound, our heads spin, and our funny bones explode. there are many blessings and best moments to remember. we thought we'd do that end-of-year nostalgia thing with the site, too, and share your best hits, and for any of you who missed these stories the first time around. we say "your," because you made them that way. more to come of what you like most in 2009…happy new year!
