See Ya CFLs:

Recycle used CFLs at your local Home Depot, IKEA or check Earth911.org for drop-off locations in your zip code. If your state permits you to put used or broken CFLs in the garbage, seal the bulb in two plastic bags and put it in the outside trash. Don't incinerate, as CFLs contain a small amount of toxic mercury, an average of about 5 milligrams, which would get released into the air.

Green Home Chlorine Removing Shower Filter

Green Home Chlorine Removing Shower Filter

Why It's Good:

Positive changes in the way you look and feel by filtering out the chlorine in your shower water include: healthier, younger looking skin, softer hair, a less dry and itchy scalp and even less fading for color-treated hair.

Why It's Green:

Chlorine, considered one of the most toxic elements in nature, gets absorbed through your pores and mouth when it vaporizes in the shower. This filter, certified by the National Science Foundation, gets rid of it along with other harmful chemicals in your shower water.
