Sidle up to your favorite B-list actor at the picnic tables lining M Cafe and bite into your BBQ burger (yes, it's seitan—oops, did we mention this is a macrobiotic joint?). The menu at M Cafe is incredibly inventive, delicious, and healthy. Our favorite is the teriyaki tempura bowl with black cod—it's a crispy melange of savory goodness.
The chefs at M Cafe use only in-season ingredients and prep them minimally. As with anything macrobiotic, all food is free of refined sugars, eggs, dairy, red meat, and poultry, although there is fish on the menu.
