Blood Orange Ramos Fizz

Cool, refreshing, and chock full of vitamin C, this drink is an offshoot of the classic Ramos Gin Fizz.

Use organic gin for pure and zestful flavor that's chemical-free. And if you can get organic or local cream and blood orange slices, all the better.

Blood Orange Ramos Fizz

Ingredients:

2 oz Gin
1/8 oz Orange Flower Water (A natural extract made from the distillation of orange blossoms. Orange flower water is used in Middle Eastern cooking in both savory and sweet foods.)
1 oz Blood Orange juice
½ oz simple syrup (Equal parts sugar and water. Shake. No cooking required.)
½ oz cream

Garnish
Slice of Blood Orange

Put all ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker is frosted and beaded with sweat. Strain into martini glass.—Recipe by Michael Green
