Second Time Around

With multiple locations in Boston, Second Time Around is a great bet for designer consignments. Items are priced at thirty percent of their original value and are discounted even further on a monthly basis. So be sure to check the item's initial date on the price tag—it could be another half off! Do beware, however: Thirty percent can still be quite pricey as some of these garments originally retailed at thousands of dollars. Racks are organized by color rather than size, which, in our opinion, makes shopping a bit more labor intensive. But if we know we might find an Armani or a Chanel dress in there, we're willing to roll up our sleeves!
Designer duds should never go to waste, so buy 'em up and give them a second lease on life. You can also consign your own gently used clothes and see if you can renew some of your dollars!
