Old Vogue Men's Vintage Store
Item Posted: MAR 17, 2008
Old Vogue offers the best selection of men's vintage in the city. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Columbus Avenue, this quiet shop makes for a serene vintage hunting experience. The staff is happy to help, but won't pester you while you peruse the racks for a perfect three-piece suit. The collection is 50s to 70s, but you can easily craft an old-world style that's in keeping with current trends. My favorites include silk cigar parlor robes and plush velvet salon jackets. Prices aren’t cheap but the unique merchandise is worth the price.
Everything old can be new again. Buying second-hand means you are reusing something already made that won't get discarded, thus cutting down on new materials, carbon emissions and energy.
Note: Visit Old Vogue at 1412 Grant Avenue in San Francisco; call 415-392-1522 for more information.
