Lang Antique & Estate Jewelry Ladies Enamel Elgin Hunter Case Pocket Watch
Item Posted: MAY 6, 2008
The Victorian period was so morbidly full of sentimentality when it came to jewelry, it’s said that its reigning monarch once wore a bracelet made from her children’s teeth. Likewise, this 19th century 14-carat gold diamond-set pocket watch has a story of its own, hence the inscription on the cover that reads ‘Presented to Carrie F. Cole by her parents December 31st 1891 Michigan City, Indiana.’ Now that was one lucky girl.
All of Lang Antique & Estate Jewelry’s goods are salvaged from another time, which means that instead of bedazzling a landfill, this jewelry beautifies you.
