Inflate Your Tires, Save on Gas:

Keep your tires properly inflated and your gas efficiency will increase by up to five percent. According to the U.S. Department of Energy, American drivers can save up to two billion gallons of gasoline a year and prevent up to 40 billion pounds of carbon dioxide from entering the atmosphere if all tires are properly inflated. About 50% of cars on the road have under-inflated tires.

emerginC Multi-Vitamin + Retinol Serum

Why It's Good:

Talk about high tech! The age-busting ingredients in this serum are encapsulated to preserve their potency. Though loaded with retinol (a vitamin A derivative with proven collagen-boosting properties), it's still gentle enough for sensitive skin. Other active ingredients include an alphabet soup of vitamins (C, B, E, F, H and K), licorice root to brighten, sweet almond milk to moisturize and green tea to soothe.

Why It's Green:

The emerginC brand is committed to cleaning up its act, and started removing parabens from their products this year. This serum is also free of synthetic fragrances and dyes and is packaged in environmentally-conscious paper that has been printed with a vegetable-based ink.
