The Right Way to Mow:

From spring to fall, have your mower blade on the highest setting. Tall grass in the summer shades itself and conserves water. Tall grass in the fall shades the soil and keeps weed seed from germinating.

Anthropologie Isola Bella Bath Towel

Why It's Good:

Chic and super soft, these towels are a perfect blend of form and function. And they're sooo purty!

Why It's Green:

Made from 100% bamboo, which is a naturally renewable resource. Bamboo grows rapidly and without the use of chemical pesticides, which means less readily renewable resources are spared and less toxins seep into the environment.

Things We Love in the A.M.

Every morning, after I peel open each eyelid, I offer a silent thank you to the genius who invented coffee. I'm not what you—or anyone else—would call a morning person. And as summer fades, making way for cool weather, it grows exponentially more difficult to leave the warm fluffy bed and put bare foot to icy tile floor. So I take pleasure in the little things to get me through the morning. These include, but are not limited to, hot oatmeal with organic blueberries, the aforementioned coffee (in the largest vessel handy) and a steaming shower followed by fresh, fluffy bath towels. The Anthopologie Isola Bella Bath towels are made of 100% bamboo, which means they're not only super soft, but are naturally resistant to mold and bacteria. What a nice touch. Plus, they're gorgeous. The clean blue and white pattern adds a pop of color and instant designer cred to my bathroom. I pile a stack in plain view so I can enjoy them even when not wrapped up in one. Between the towels and my enormous cup of coffee, mornings are becoming pretty fabulous. Almost. —Regan Fletcher
