Why They're Good:

Vere's organic line of chocolate bars includes tantalizing flavor combinations like Espresso + Anise, Banana + Macadamia, Raspberry + Lemon and Cayenne + Cacao. We just hope you like it dark (75%!), 'cause these single-origin, Arriba cacao bars are not for the faint of heart.

Why They're Green:

U.S. Department of Agriculture and Ecocert certified organic, these bars were made by hand by fairly paid members of the Maquita Cushunchic Foundation in Ecuador, where the beans and other native ingredients are sourced. Many of Vere's chocolates come in a diabetic-friendly, minimally sweetened version and/or are vegan-friendly and gluten-free.
