Legalizing Hemp (Fabric):

The hemp plants used for fabric and marijuana are two totally different species, making the US prohibition against growing hemp for textiles nonsensical. Shooting for the Presidency

If McCain is elected this November, America could have another trigger-happy vice president (who can forget Dick Cheney's quail hunting incident?). McCain's vice presidential running mate Sarah Palin has come under a lot of scrutiny this past week after being announced as the potential first female VP of the United States. Issues from her daughter's pregnancy to her affiliations with oil companies have been brought up along with her penchant for hunting. An NRA member, Palin has said "we hunt as much as we can, and I'm proud to say our freezer is full of wild game we harvested here in Alaska." Check out these photos courtesy of Field and Stream. It runs in the family as well – Palin's parents found out she was the official running mate after they had just returned from hunting caribou. Shouldn't you be keeping an eye out for that Alaskan environment instead of killing off its inhabitants, Madame VP?
