The Devil Wears Prada (but Totes Reusable Bags)

Actress Anne Hathaway was one of the Hollywood style icons in town to show her support of Barack Obama's nomination. Off-camera, The Devil Wears Prada star says green efforts get top billings. "I'm so scared about what is happening to our Earth. But living in an environmental way doesn't mean living in a wood shack and wearing hemp sweaters. I bought carbon offset points at Terrapass.com as a gift for my brother when he went off to college," the 25-year-old actress told Sprig.com. Hathaway also offered a style solution to help reduce the number of plastic bags filling landfills: "Stuff two plastic bags in every one of your handbags, so you always have one on hand to reuse."
