Decorated with edible flowers and hand-rolled with a layer of Herbs de Provence, Harley Farms' Monet Goat Cheese from Pescadero, CA uses only milk from American Alpine goats born and raised on the property.
The company's secret ingredient is less obvious: Goats are rotated for grazing on the farm's nine acres of lush, green pasture, which never needs to be fertilized, thanks to the nitrogen-rich manure of the chickens that trail after the goats.
