Initial Necklace

Why It's Good:

"A" is for adorable when it comes to this line of initial necklaces that are simple in design, embellished with a single rough-cut diamond, and brought into existence by Sarah Perlis, a jewelry designer whose work has accessorized Mandy Moore, Sheryl Crow and Kiera Knightley.

Why It's Green:

Perlis' rough-cut collection is made from recycled gold and diamonds extracted through means other than mining – a process that uses toxic chemicals like cyanide to draw out metal.
