Why It's Good:

Available in natural, pastels or bright hues, this classic Panama straw hat has a 5" brim, an elastic headband on the inside for a snug fit, and rolls up for easy packing.

Why It's Green:

Made from Carludovica plamata, a sustainably harvested palm leaf, this hat was handwoven by farmers in the high Andes mountains of Ecuador, enabling them to stay put and still earn a fair living. SF Hat Company pioneered the production of hats without the heavy bleaching that can pollute the local streams.
