The Cost of Pampers:

Why It's Good:

These curtains are too grown-up elegant to live only in a child's bathroom (although they're fine for that, too). Made of Egyptian cotton, and dyed and woven by a family-owned company in Portugal that's been making high-quality linens for over 30 years, the crisp white faille with the pastel border is very distinctively embellished with embroidered chocolate dots.

Why It's Green:

The European-based Oeko-Tex certification process tests fibers, fabrics and its components for more than 100 harmful substances which can be harmful to those who produce it, the consumer, and the environment.  A textile's growth, farming, production process and ultimate end-use (also called "cradle to cradle") is analyzed and considered before certification is given.
