Raksha Bella organic bedding

Why They're Good:

The easiest way to freshen up a boring bedroom is with a brand new set of sheets. Handmade and hand-embellished with a classic yet exotic looking Indian pattern, these sheets could be passed off as souvenirs from a trip to Mumbai, yet look just as home on Martha's Vineyard.

Why They're Green:

Even 100% cotton sheets are not a green option. Conventional cotton farming uses pesticides that are environmentally harmful and can irritate sensitive skin, contribute to poor indoor air quality and incite allergic reactions. Raksha Bella duvets and quilts are made of SKAL-certified 100% organic Indian cotton, and are hand-stamped with low-impact, AZO-free dyes. This bedding also comes from an Indian farming community that promotes sustainability.

Where To Get Them:

You can also call (510) 898-1981 for information. Prices are approximate; lower figure is the price of a Euro sham, and higher figure for a full/queen duvet cover.
