Why They're Good:

These fuchsia t-strap peep-toe wedges with a Velcro closure are enough to put Dorothy to shame. Lucky for her they're not red. Pair them with black opaque tights and you'll be right in sync with this season's schoolmarm chic. 

Why They're Green:

Melissa designs these shoes from plastic that's either recycled or recyclable. According to the EPA, 30 million tons of plastic filled the waste stream in 2006, accounting for 11.7% of total waste generation that year. Once plastic is in the waste stream, it can take hundreds of years to biodegrade.
