The Case for Compact Fluorescent Lights:

If every American home replaced one bulb with an Energy Star CFL, the greenhouse gas emissions of 800,000 cars would be prevented from going into the atmosphere. You'd save about $30 on energy costs over the life of each bulb.

Best Spray-On Sunblock: Kiss My Face Sunspray with SPF 30
Jacob Krupnick

Why It's Good:

Our testers noticed that the natural, eco-friendly spray-on products they tried do not work the same as drugstore versions: Instead of a continuous spray of evenly distributed protection, you have to pump out and then rub in some of the mineral blocks. This one was worth the extra work, though, as it rubs in clear, absorbs quickly and offers great SPF 30 protection from the sun.

Why It's Green:

Like all Kiss My Face products, this spray is paraben-free. It's also fragrance-free so it's great for those with sensitive skin. The plastic packaging is also recyclable.
