Why They're Good:

Intelligent Nutrients, the brainchild of Aveda founder Horst Rechelbacher, recently launched a line of multifunctional aromatics in seven distinctive scents. Our favorite, Seductive, features top notes of nutmeg, cloves and vanilla, with a touch of organic blackberry. (As its name suggests, its composition is believed to have "aphrodisiacal" properties.) These multitasking aromas — they can also do double duty as a hair conditioner or a jet-lag tonic — are sure to impress time-pressed hostesses everywhere.

Why They're Green:

These aromatics are the first scents to be made with certified organic food ingredients, many of which come from Horst's own 580-acre organic form in Osceola, Wis.
