Harley Farms
Monet Goat Cheese
Why It's Good:
Harley Farms only uses milk from the American Alpine goats born and raised on its farm to make its farmstead cheeses. Its award-winning, melt-in-your-mouth Monet is hand-rolled with a layer of Herbs de Provence and decorated with edible violas and calendulas grown in the farm's own garden — a perfect spread for fresh bread and crackers.
Why It's Green:
Grass is Harley Farms' secret ingredient. Goats are rotated for grazing on the farm's nine acres of lush, green pasture. And thanks to chickens that follow the goats through the pasture — or thanks to their nitrogen-rich manure — it never needs to be fertilized.
