Hanan Yanny Magazine Mirror

Why It's Good:

As far as mirrors on the wall go, this has to be one of the fairest of them all. With the spirit of South Africa, here's an exciting and fresh take on every decorator's favorite accessory. Just look in any magazine and you'll most likely find one gracing a glamorous interior.

Why It's Green:

The mirror is handmade with magazines that were rescued from recycling depots or before they ended up in a landfill. The fair-trade and ethically run studio in Capetown, South Africa, where these mirrors are made, employs disadvantaged women so they can earn income to support their roles as mothers and homemakers.
