Dagoba Chocolate

Why They're Good:

This popular health-food store brand boasts some of the most unusual flavor infusions in the chocolate universe, to stunningly savory effect. From Roseberry (rose hips and raspberry) to its take on Mint (mint and rosemary) and Chai (ginger and spice), you'll delight in discovering each new flavor complexity.

Why They're Green:

Dagoba's chocolates are made from certified-organic cacao beans grown in sustainably managed rainforests in Latin America and Madagascar. These non-fumigated beans are harvested by fairly paid farmers working in close and equitable partnership with the company.

Dagoba uses only pure essential oils and organic, non-GMO ingredients; all bars are gluten-free and the dark bars are vegan-friendly. Energy used in production at the company's main facility is carbon offset, and an extensive recycling program is in place.
