Why It's Good:

Meyer lemons, thought to be a cross between a true lemon and a Mandarin orange, are less tart than ordinary lemons, have a sweetly perfumed zest, and are prized as ingredients in pastries and tarts. This syrup is handmade in small batches by farmer Christine Coke using a Swiss recipe that includes lemon peel, juice, organic sugar and lemons. For a refreshing drink on a late summer afternoon, mix two ounces of the syrup with sparkling water and garnish with a slice of lemon.

Why It's Green:

It's made from the Coke family's organically grown Meyer lemons. Coke Farm has been growing fruit and vegetables organically for more than 25 years.
