"People used to buy local food from the marketplace and eat it with family and friends. It was a celebration of life. Something happened when fast food came in: It separated us from the seasons, nature and the ritual of the table."—Alice Waters, Chez Panisse
While the general public is screaming for more, it seems that PETA is not yet ready for another Britney comeback. The group had denounced her use of trained elephants in the latest music video for "Circus" citing that the training company Miss Spears used employs electric prods on their elephants. The trainers Gary and Kari Johnson have responded arguing that they do not support the practice and that their comment was taken out of context. According to the couple, a representative from the American Humane Association was there the entire time to make sure the animals were treated fairly. Although, if you were on the set of a Britney Spears music video shoot, would you really be watching the elephants?
