People and the Planet:

Environmental devastation can lead to war...and worse. Global warming helped bring on the drought in Darfur, which caused farmers and herders to fight for limited land resources. Battle lines were drawn along ethnic lines, leading to today's genocide crisis. By reducing our carbon dioxide output, we can slow global warming. If you drive a hybrid, you can save 16,000 lbs. of CO2 and $3,750 per year.

Make My Day Shampoo and Conditioner
Youngna Park

Why They're Good:

This ultra-gentle shampoo and conditioner are great for frequent washers or daily use. The shampoo deeply cleanses while maintaining proper moisture balance for optimum scalp health; wheat and silk proteins promote shine and ginseng and calendula nourish the strands. And we looooved the conditioner, a great detangler that left our hair soft and bouncy for days.

Why They're Green:

Free of parabens (preservatives) and hair-stripping sulfates (harsh cleansing agents), Blow's products contain botanical extracts and the conditioner contains organic shea butter. Not tested on animals.
