Black Rice with Mushrooms and Spinach Recipe

Why It's Good:

Black Rice with Mushrooms and Spinach

1 Tablespoon peanut oil
3 Tablespoons World Foods nasi goreng Indonesian stir-fry paste
1/2 cup mushrooms, quartered
1 medium onion, sliced
2 cups black rice, cooked until tender
1 cup chopped raw spinach

1.       Heat oil in a medium skillet or wok. Add nasi goring; fry over high flame until fragrant, about 3 minutes.

2.      Add mushrooms and onions; cook over medium heat until onions are tender and starting to brown, about 8 minutes.

3.      Fold in rice and spinach; stir fry until the rice is piping hot and the spinach has wilted thoroughly, about 6 minutes more. Serve immediately
