Room to Get Creative

Welcome to Greenbelt, Brooklyn's first LEED-certified residence, decorated with whimsy and authenticity by designers Chip Cordelli and Chris Kraig. Situated on a thriving street in Williamsburg, Greenbelt is a prototype of an eco-urban complex for housing pristine, spacious, green apartments as well as a thriving theater company, The Center for Performance Research, who inhabit the ground floor. Architect Gregory Merryweather and developer Derek Denkler, of Propeller Group, a sustainable real-estate development company, used 50% of the existing structure to reduce the need for new resources. The buildings façade is made of steel with an average of 70% recycled content. That is the tip of the eco-iceberg; come inside and see what this real green building looks like.
