The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) supports forest conservation worldwide, and FSC wood is sustainably and socially responsibly harvested, causing as minimal of an impact to the environment as possible. Choosing an indigenous hardwood in your area can further reduce a deck's overall environmental impact.
